About the Adventure
Church Restart in Bowling Green, Ohio
For over 50 years, our Charis Fellowship Church in Bowling Green, OH has been a light in this college community, but it has been in transition for several years. In 2016, it was renamed Grace Church of Bowling Green (formerly Bowling Green Grace Brethren Church). Not long after that, it moved to its current location; it had been in its previous building since the 1960’s. After suddenly losing their pastor, the leaders at Grace Church looked for a new way forward; it continued its transformation by entering into a 3-year partnership with Assist as a restart project in 2019. They have found a re-start pastor – Eric Holtrop – and are working to establish a new vision and culture for the church to see a bright and fruitful future. They have renamed again to become Bowling Green Church!
Join the adventure!
Over one weekend, we will partner with Bowling Green Church to help raise their visibility in their community by doing servant evangelism projects and ministry opportunities. The goal is to help them become a “known” in the community, building familiarity and credibility for upcoming community event engagements.
